All roads in Lauenburg lead to the water, to the river Elbe.

Some centuries ago merchants, sailors, traders, brewers, shipbuilders and fishermen have settled on its banks.

Located directly on the eastern portal of the historical Lauenburger Old Town, it's one of the oldest houses - the "Fährleutehaus" of anno 1649th!
